Arrivals & departures
Changeover day in Val Thorens (generally Saturday) is extremely busy. All apartments must be vacated before 10.00am and are available for arriving guests at 5.00pm.
Between 10.00am – 5.00pm, we fully verify, control and tidy all of our apartments to ensure that new coming clients can fully enjoy their holiday accommodation on arrival.
For this reason, should you wish to leave Val Thorens later or arrive earlier than the times indicated, unfortunately you will not be able to occupy your apartment. We would recommend that you enjoy skiing on Saturdays as this is the least busy day of the week on the pistes. Alternatively, the sports centre is open all day for you to relax and there are various baggage services available for you to leave your luggage.
A well planned holiday can avoid unnecessary stress on arrival in resort. Do not hesitate to pre-book supplementary services with us (ski pass, ski equipment, parking space, television hire…) and verify the road conditions before your arrival (ensuring that your car is properly equipped for snowy weather also).

Travel and parking in resort
For the comfort and ease of pedestrians within resort, Val Thorens has banned all street parking. Motorists may park in front of their residence to unload baggage and take suitcases up to their apartment but must then ensure that all cars are parked in one of the resort car parks immediately.
Private parking spaces may be reserved through us at the agency (limited quantity) or directly through Valthoparc.

For travel within resort during your stay, a free shuttle bus is available daily.
