The 3 Vallees, the largest skiing domain of the world

The ski area

Val Thorens is located in the heart of the Les 3 Vallées ski area, at a height of 3230m, linking the resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, Brides Les Bains and Orelle.

The 3 Vallees covers a wide natural circus dominated by 6 glaciers, more than 200 ski lifts and 600 km of ski runs connected to each other, meaning so many routes and styles of skiing to be in the sun all day.

Renowned for the quality of snow and at the forefront ski lifts, Les Trois Vallées offers powdery fields and perfectly groomed slopes for all levels from beginner to advanced snowborder.

The 3 Vallees can guarantee an optimum high snowfall not only because of the altitude with 85% of the domain above 1800m, but also thanks to the 2189 snow groomers covering 49% of the ski area.

Among the unusual facilities accessible on the Val Thorens ski area:

- The highest zip line in the world for the skiers connecting the Pointe du Bouchet (3230 m) to the Pointe de Thorens (3002 m). This unique experience (created in 2014) is 1.3 km long and allows you to experience a flight of up to 105 km/h at a height of 250 m.

- The longest toboggan run in France ( 6 km), with a height difference of 700 m (from 3000 to 2 300 m altitude).

- A snowpark of more than 70 000 m2 with bordercross, big air, half pipe, handrails, ...
